NiniVPN Setup Guide
Create an account → Choose a plan → Get your subscription → Import it into your client → Verify your connection. Follow the steps in order for your first setup, or jump straight to your platform if you already have an account and subscription.
Labels and screens vary by platform, client, and version. This guide refers to features such as “Subscription,” “Configuration,” and “Import from URL”; the exact names depend on the current panel and client interface. Get the installer from the user panel. Sign in to access your subscription.
account / Account setup
Create an account and save your credentials
Open the “Try it free” link below to go to the NiniVPN account creation page in the user panel. Choose a username and password, then follow the on-screen instructions. No email address is required; you can create an account with a username and password. Pick a username that’s easy to remember but doesn’t reveal personal information. Don’t reuse a password from another site.
After submitting, check that the panel shows your account. If you’re still on the sign-in screen, log in with the username and password you just saved. If a username is unavailable or the format is invalid, make the requested change instead of repeatedly submitting the same details. Once logged in, open the plans section. Your orders, subscriptions, and client downloads are managed through this account.
Before leaving the account creation page, save your login details in a trusted password manager. Since no email address is required, don’t rely on email recovery as a fallback—keep your credentials somewhere safe. Don’t save your password on a public device. On a shared computer, sign out of the panel when you’re done and clear any subscription details copied to the clipboard.

Choose a plan and confirm your payment
After signing in, open the plans section and choose between a monthly subscription and a data package. Monthly subscriptions suit regular use: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, or ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly from the activation date, not on the first day of each calendar month. Choose based on your video streaming, file transfers, and everyday browsing—not just the number of devices. NiniVPN supports unlimited devices.
If your usage varies, consider a data package: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data packages never expire and remain available until used. They’re billed differently from subscriptions that reset monthly, so check the plan name, data allowance, and amount before confirming your order. For a side-by-side comparison, see the plan pricing page.
Choose a plan, create an order as prompted in the panel, then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Check the order amount before paying. After payment, return to the panel to review the order result and plan status. A successful payment in your payment app doesn’t automatically update your client configuration. Confirm that the plan is active in the panel before getting your subscription. If the status hasn’t updated, check your existing order instead of repeatedly creating and paying for new ones.
When you upgrade a monthly subscription partway through its term, the price difference is converted into remaining days. NiniVPN offers a 14-day money-back guarantee; see the Terms of Service for the full refund policy. If you have questions about the order amount, payment result, or plan status, submit a ticket through the panel after signing in. Include the plan you chose and the message shown on the page before continuing setup.

Get your subscription from the account overview
Once your plan is active, open the account overview in the user panel and find the subscription section. A subscription gives your client access to the routes available on your account. It isn’t a route’s web address or a client installer. Don’t copy the panel page URL from your browser’s address bar. Use the copy or import option provided in the panel’s subscription section.
If the panel offers one-click import for your installed client, use it if you can. Your browser may ask whether to open the associated app. Check that it’s the right app, allow it to open, then confirm that the configuration was added in the client. If the app doesn’t launch, check that the client is installed and opens properly. You can also import manually: copy the subscription link, paste it into the client’s configuration manager, and save.
Your subscription link may contain account-specific credentials, so protect it like a password. Don’t post the full link in public forums, screenshots, or shared documents, and don’t submit it to an unfamiliar online conversion tool. If you need help, describe the issue—for example, “import error”—or share a screenshot with sensitive details obscured. You usually don’t need to disclose the full subscription link.
After adding a subscription, the client usually needs to download or update its configuration. This step is complete when the configuration appears and the route list has loaded. If the configuration is empty, check for spaces, line breaks, or extra text in the pasted link, then confirm your plan status and network connection. Getting a subscription and connecting the client are separate steps. Don’t keep switching connection modes before the routes have loaded.
Open account overviewclients / Setup by platform
Install the client and import your subscription
Choose your device platform in the user panel’s client downloads section. After signing in, Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux users can get the client. An active subscription is still required to use the routes. The iOS entry point is available according to active plan eligibility. The steps below apply to the NiniVPN client provided in the panel or subscription clients explicitly supported there. You don’t need to find another installer or convert your subscription into manual server settings.
Get the clientWindows: Add a remote subscription
Get the Windows client from the panel, install it following the prompts, and launch the app. If you’re using the panel’s client or a Clash-compatible subscription client listed as supported in the panel, open “Profiles,” “Subscription Management,” or the equivalent section. Choose the option to add a configuration from a link, paste the subscription link copied from the account overview, enter a name you’ll recognize, then save and update.
Once the route list appears, set the new configuration as active and choose a route that fits your needs. Then enable the system proxy. If you’re using the client’s virtual network adapter mode, grant the required permissions when prompted. There’s no need to change multiple modes during initial setup. If your browser works but another app doesn’t, check whether that app follows the system proxy before deleting a subscription that imported successfully.
macOS: Check the configuration and system permissions
Choose the macOS client in the panel, install it, and launch the app before importing your subscription. If the panel offers one-click import, allow your browser to open the installed client. To import manually, open the configuration or subscription section, choose URL import, paste the link, and update. Check which configuration is active so you don’t leave the app using an older one after adding a new configuration.
When you connect, macOS may ask you to allow a network extension, proxy settings, or other system permissions. Check that the request comes from the client you just installed, then follow the system prompts. Some clients keep running in the menu bar after you close the main window, so check the menu bar for connection status. When you’re finished, disconnect or turn off the system proxy in the client to avoid leaving proxy settings enabled after quitting the app.
Android: Import your subscription and allow the VPN connection
Get the Android client from the panel and install it following your device’s prompts. Open the app and go to configuration management. Choose “Add subscription,” “Import from URL,” or the equivalent option. Paste the subscription link into the address field—not the configuration name field—then save and update. When the routes appear, select the active configuration and the route you want, then tap Connect.
The first time you connect on Android, the system may show a VPN connection request. Confirm that it came from the client you’re using, allow it, then return to the app to check the connection status. If the system says another VPN is already active, decide which connection to keep before resolving the conflict. If the connection drops when you switch apps, check your device’s background activity and battery settings for the client. Follow your device’s instructions; there’s no need to change every permission blindly.
iOS: Access the client based on plan eligibility
First, confirm that your plan is active in the panel, then open the client downloads section and check for the iOS entry point. iOS client access is provided based on active plan eligibility; check the panel for availability. Follow the instructions on the page to install the client. Don’t use installers for other platforms on an iPhone or iPad, and don’t enter your account password in the client’s subscription URL field.
After installation, return to the panel and use one-click import for the compatible client. If you need to add it manually, choose the import-from-link option in the client’s subscription or configuration section. Save and update the routes, select one, and connect. If the system asks to add a VPN configuration, check the app name before allowing it, then complete any confirmation steps. Finally, check the connection in the client; seeing a configuration name in system settings alone doesn’t confirm that you’re connected.
Linux: Follow the panel instructions
NiniVPN also supports Linux. Get the appropriate client from the panel, then follow its instructions to install it and add your subscription. Proxy settings may work differently across desktop environments and apps, so a connected client doesn’t necessarily mean your terminal and browser use the same route. For advanced setup in the command line, IDEs, and APIs, see the AI access guide. This page covers the basic desktop connection check.
verify / Connection check
Connect to a route and verify it works
After importing, update your subscription, select the active configuration, and choose a route. Choose a region based on the service you want to use, not simply the one closest to you. NiniVPN offers 120+ countries and regions and 250+ international routes. Available options depend on the lists shown in the panel and client. For an overview of regions and route use cases, see the global server locations page, then return to your client to choose a route.
After connecting, check that the client shows an active connection and that the system proxy or VPN permissions are in effect. Reopen the target website in your browser, or fully quit and restart the app you want to use, so it doesn’t keep using its previous network path. Don’t rely only on the color of the client’s connection switch. Check whether the target app can actually load a page, sign in, or retrieve content.
To check your exit region, compare it before and after connecting using an exit-IP lookup you trust. Use the same app and proxy mode for both checks. Otherwise, your browser may use the proxy while another app connects directly, making the results seem inconsistent. With split tunneling enabled, not every website uses the same exit route, so one lookup page showing your original region doesn’t necessarily mean all connections have failed.
If something goes wrong, retrace your steps in order: first check your local network, then confirm your plan is active, the subscription updates, and the right configuration is selected. Finally, check that the target app uses the network path provided by the client. When switching routes, leave other settings unchanged and try the request again. This helps you tell whether the issue is the route, permissions, or a region restriction in the app itself.
A successful connection doesn’t guarantee that you meet a platform’s account eligibility or regional requirements. AI tools, streaming services, and APIs may each have separate requirements. If you see a sign-in issue, region notice, or interrupted stream, note the exact error message and check the relevant guide.
Once setup is verified, repeat these steps on other devices: get the client → import your subscription → allow the connection → check access. NiniVPN supports unlimited devices, but each one needs to be configured and verified separately. If the route list changes later, update your existing subscription instead of creating another account or placing another order.
That’s all you need for basic setup. For import failures, dropped connections, data resets, or order issues, see the FAQ. For differences in network access with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, IDE plugins, and APIs, read the AI access guide. For further troubleshooting, submit a support ticket in the panel with your device platform, the client message, and the steps you’ve tried. Hide account credentials and subscription links.
